Crazy times

So I’ve completed my first crocheted face washer using organic un-dyed cotton thread from Peru (thanks to Sooz).

I’m using homemade deodorant (again, thanks to Sooz).

I’ve been using some ecologically sensitive greenie washing powder which means I have to hang the washing out as soon as it’s finished to save it from developing the musty washing smell.

And now, now I’ve seen a picture of a jumper which made me think, ‘maybe I could knit that’.

An intervention is but moments away.

Would that be a full intervention??

    A full intervention indeed.

Chef's bed shark has also seen more action in the last week than about the last three months.

    I'm telling you — A FULL INTERVENTION.

  • Tania

I happen to know that Sooz is also particularly clever at launching FULL INTERVENTIONS.

The MOMENT you mention sewing sanitary pads I WILL arrange to have you locked up.

    Lucky Chef, though.

Pfft. Sewing sanitary pads. Blackbird – you should know by now that sea sponges are the perfect alternative to tampons. Tsk.

You're certainly showing signs of needing one… just let me know if you start following Kim's advice above!! x

  • Being Me

Great. Thanks for mentioning the sewing of sanitary pads. I was just transported back to that most unsavoury moment 6 years ago when I was shown by my mother inlaw the pads she was sewing for herself and would I like some.

You are taking home-made to new heights. Crocheted face washer? Owwwwch, scratchy much?

I likes the kind of intervention, you big hippy 😉

And *ahem* ain't nothing wrong with cloth menstrual pads. In fact, if you really want to go green, try a Moon Cup (Google it- I dare you!) 😀

Are you sure you're not running a fever? Something doesn't seem quite right…

Being Me – shown BY YOUR MOTHER IN LAW. So very very wrong.

And I'm all across the Moon Cup thanks to Badger. *shudder*

Di – I bought my ocean creature killing normal washing powder today. just to try and return to some equilibrium.
