Christmas Eve

was a gorgeous balmy evening with the in-laws.

There was a divine octopus and potato salad, laden with mint, paprika and lemon juice. A sumptious chicken, stuffed with veal, mushrooms and sage and a simply dressed green salad. Dessert was a scoop of vanilla icecream, topped with my fruitmince, slightly warmed, and a shot of Chef’s homemade coffee liqueur.
